American Veterinary Medical Association to Host Conference in January  As president of Treasure Coast Veterinary Surgical Service, a facility he founded, Brian Daubs provides surgical care for animals along Florida’s Treasure Coast. Active in his field, Brian Daubs belongs to such industry organizations as the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). Brian Daubs also hold the title Chief of Surgery at Animal Specialty and Emergency Hospital along Florida’s Space Coast.

American Veterinary Medical Association to Host Conference in January  Established in 1863, the AVMA is a nonprofit organization that acts as a collective voice for veterinarians. Currently comprising more than 85,000 members, the organization aims to improve animal health and to advance the veterinary medicine field.

American Veterinary Medical Association to Host Conference in January  Throughout the year, the AVMA hosts events and conference to keep its members up-to-date on changes within the veterinary community. One event, scheduled for January 8 through 11, 2015, at the Westin Michigan Avenue in Chicago, is the Veterinary Leadership Conference (VLC). At the event, attendees will have the opportunity to avail themselves of networking opportunities and workshop gatherings, as well as listen to addresses by keynote speakers. Attendees may also partake in team- building exercises and gain continuing education credit.
