+ Saint Anthony’s Health Center was originally founded in 1925 by the Sisters of St. Francis of the Martyr St. George.

+ OSF Saint Anthony’s Health Center OSF Saint Clare’s Hospital From a small infirmary to what is today a full- service, two-campus acute care health system, OSF Saint Anthony’s maintains its faith-based Mission by continuing to serve persons with the greatest care and love in a community that celebrates the Gift of Life.

+ Main Campus While both facilities are located in the city of Alton, OSF Saint Anthony’s Health Center is the primary campus. It is home to the emergency department, ICU, surgery, OB and other acute care services.

+ Primary Services Services provided at the OSF Saint Anthony’s campus: Heart center, cath lab Imaging & Diagnostic Services: X-ray, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, mammography, CT, stereotactic biopsy, PET, dexa scan, pain management, lab, respiratory, neurology Surgery: outpatient, day and inpatient surgical procedures. Women’s Pavilion Birthing Center Gastrointestinal Diagnostic Center Medical/Surgical, ICU

+ OSF Saint Anthony’s Health Center Campus Since 2010, the Saint Anthony’s campus has gone through extensive updating. Some improvements include: Transitioned to a private-room facility Remodeled emergency department including stroke telemedicine services and a results pending area Advanced monitoring systems in OB and ED Numerous upgrades to diagnostic, communication and laboratory equipment

+ Spiritual Care The campus is also home to the Sisters of St. Francis of the Martyr St. George. To take a virtual tour of the Provincial Home, go to The Chapel The main chapel at OSF Saint Anthony’s Health Center is located on the first floor and is open 24 hours a day. Daily mass is offered there at 6 a.m. (Monday through Saturday) and 5:50 a.m. (Sundays and Holy Days.)

+ OSF Saint Clare’s Hospital Built in 1938, the facility was originally called St. Joseph’s Hospital. In 1989, the Sisters acquired the hospital and renamed it Saint Clare’s Hospital. The beautiful facility is located in downtown Alton and overlooks the Mississippi.

+ OSF Saint Clare’s Hospital and Medical Office Building The OSF Saint Clare’s campus houses inpatient rehab, skilled nurses and a majority of our outpatient programs, plus a supportive living community. Services include: CARF accredited, Stroke Certified Acute Rehabilitation Unit Extended Care (Skilled Nursing) Cancer Center of Excellence Outpatient Therapy Services Sleep Center Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine Diabetes Services Psychological Services Home Health Care Hospice Services Saint Clare’s Villa – supportive living for seniors Adult Day Services

+ As a primary service line, the Cancer Center of Excellence features chemotherapy, radiation therapy and infusion services. It is the area’s only cancer facility to receive the Outstanding Achievement Award from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.

+ Recognized service lines provided by OSF Saint Clare’s The therapy services department is honored to provide the Alton community with the community’s only Balance Center, featuring the state-of-the-art Balance Master System and certified Lymphedema Therapist. A newly renovated sleep center offers a comfortable and private setting to help individuals relax for their sleep studies.

+ Services Continued… The OSF Saint Clare’s acute rehabilitation unit is the area’s only inpatient acute rehabilitation unit that is CARF-accredited with a stroke specialty. In addition, OSF Saint Clare’s offers the area’s only hospital-based, medically- supervised adult day services program.

+ Seniors are finding a beautiful new place to call home at Saint Clare’s Villa. The area’s only hospital-based supportive living facility, Saint Clare’s Villa offers: 64-units/apartments Beautiful dining facility Beauty salon Exercise room Planned activities/entertainment
