Senior/Encore committee activities  The Encore Committee conducts various educational sessions at LEAGUE, ICMA, CSMFO and GFOA annual conferences.  Based on the experience of other encore managers we have developed a series of guidelines for managers considering interim, educational and consulting work.  The committee conducts an “Encore, Encore!” workshop at the culmination of the City Managers Dept conferences  The committee writes articles on subjects of interest to senior/encore managers such the Ethics of Interim Management (since many Encore managers do interim work)  We provide peer coaching for those making the transition into their encore phase. Peer coaches are featured on the Cal-ICMA website, as well as other resources such as books, articles and websites 
