PHILIPPIANS (series) EXALTING JESUS CHIRST IN MY LIFE PHILIPPIANS (series) EXALTING JESUS CHIRST IN MY LIFE! PHILIPPIANS 2:5-11

“THEREFORE, GOD HAS HIGLY EXALTED HIM……”

THE CONDECENSION OF JESUS CHRIST AND THE EXALTATION OF JESUS CHRIST ARE INSEPARABLE!

PHILIPPIANS 2:5-11 “Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond servant, and being made in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient unto death, even death on a cross.”

“Therefore also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:5-11)

THE CONDECESION OF JESUS CHRIST! HE EMPTIED HIMSELF OF THE APPEARANCE OF GOD HE DID NOT CONSIDER EQUALITY WITH GOD SOMETHING THAT HE HAD TO MAINTAIN HE BECAME A MAN (THE INCARNATION) HE BECAME A SERVANT HE BECAME OBEDIENT TO DEATH HE DIED THE DEATH OF A FELON HE DESCENDED TO THE PLACE OF THE DEAD (HADES)

MAN’S TREATMENT OF JESUS 1. MAN TRIED TO KILL HIM AT HIS BIRTH 2. MANKIND REJECTED HIM (Jn. 1:11) SPRITIUAL LEADERS TRIED TO TRAP HIM MEN SPOKE HARSH WORDS AGAINST HIM THEY PICKED UP STONES TO STONE HIM HE WAS FALSLEY ACCUSED AND SLANDERED HE WAS CONDEMNED THOUGH INNOCENT HE WAS FORSAKEN BY THOSE CLOSEST TO HIM HE WAS BEATEN AND CRUCIFIED HE WAS PLACED IN A SEALED AND GUARDED TOMB

“THEREFORE, GOD ALSO HIGHLY EXALTED HIM!”
