Background Martin Luther King Jr. was born January 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia, and died on April 4, 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was an American clergyman, activist, and a leader in the African-American Civil Rights Movement.

Martin Luther King Jr. I Have A Dream Speech

Me giving the “Martin Luther King Jr. Speech” “I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit together at the table of brotherhood.”

SOAPSTone- Subject Subject- This speech that Is given is to give people hope that one day colored and whites would joins hands and for there to not be conflict. “I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”

Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated by a sniper as he stood on the balcony of his hotel room in Memphis and died on April 4 th, other men, women, and children were killed during this time, 34 of them were black.
