What is the Sharpest and Most Legible Font to Read? 12 point Arial

Which Font Allows You to Read The Fastest? 12 point Times New Roman

Three of the most common classes of fonts are: Serif fonts Sans-serif fonts Script fonts

Serif Fonts Has little "feet," called serifs, at the ends of the lines that make up the letters. Some examples: Times New Roman Palatino Linotype Garamond These fonts are more traditional, elegant, and old-fashioned.

Sans-serif Fonts Don't have those feet. "Sans serif" means "without serifs." Some Examples: Arial Verdana Tahoma Helvetica These fonts are more clean and modern.

Script Fonts Calligraphic or cursive fonts. Example: Brush Script Freestyle Script

What Font Should I Use? In printed materials Sans-serif fonts are usually used in print for short blocks of information, like headlines, pull quotes, or bulleted lists.
