La Conciergerie This was a palace for kings and queens long ago, but then they moved to the Louvre. Then, later in history, the castle was used as a prison.

Eiffel Tower The eiffel tower was built in 1889 in honor of the French Revolution. The Eiffel tower is a very well known tourist attraction in Paris.

Arc de Triomphe This building was ordered to be constructed by the French emperor Napoleon. At that time, 1806, he wanted to honor the army. Money was a huge deal then, and the Arc de Triomphe costed a lot of it.

Bastille Day This holiday celebrates on July 14 th. It celebrates French culture. To celebrate, they dance, sing, have fireworks, and much more
