2 Background Info The language spoken is French, but in some regions of France some people have accents. Like in the south. The money used is Euros, just like most of Europe. French is spoken in many other countries, like Canada and most countries in Africa.

4 Interesting places The Eiffel Tower is the most famous building in France. It’s often the symbol of France to non French people. Le Louvre is the most popular Museum of France. Notre Dame in Paris is the most famous church in France. Video of places to see

5 French Foods France is known for its pastries. (desert like chocolate croissants) They are also known for their bread and most importantly the “baguette” French Fries aren’t actually French, they’re Belgium.

6 Culture “French culture was influenced by Celtic and Gallo-Roman cultures as well as the Franks, a Germanic tribe. France was initially defined as the western area of Germany known as Rhineland but it later came to refer to a territory that was known as Gaul during the Iron Age and Roman.” (Livescience.com) The French colonized much of Africa, therefore most countries still speak French. era

High school is only 3 years. From elementary school through middle school kids have half days on Wednesdays.
