Rejecting Falsehood Galatians 5:26 “Let us not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another.” l Boastful: a false opinion. n The Insanity of Pride: –“Challenging One Another” l A Too-High View of Ourselves –“Envying One Another” l A Too-Low View of Ourselves “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.” - 1 John 2:16
