The northern lights are the result of collisions between gassiness particles In the earths atmosphere with charged particles released from the suns atmosphere. The northern lights comes from some Latin words. aurora is he name of the roman goddess of dawn, later it became the word for dawn it’s self. Borealis is a Latin word for the north.
