Package – physical container or wrapping for a product Integral part of product planning and promotion Why? The package is a selling tool fulfilling several functions....

 Promoting and selling the product  Defining product identity  Providing information  Expressing benefits and features  Ensuring safe use Bundling methods, container shapes & materials, verbiage all enhance the functions of packaging
