Wireless Demo March 2012 © 2013 Sensor Switch

nWiFi Demonstration Tool The best way to sell the nWiFi products is to provide a demonstration of the capabilities and to view the products working. To this end, an nWiFi display set has been created to show the products in action. The display, pictured below, is a set of three product displays, that can be set up around a room with a router. Two of the displays have indicator lights to show when the lights are activated from a switch. Additionally, a set of instructions have been developed for the demonstration.

nWiFi Demo Components need for demonstration: 1.Display Board A - nPS 80 WIFI and the nPODM 2.Display Board B - nPP16 WIFI and the nPODM 4P with indicator light 3.Display Board C - nCMRB 6 WIFI with indicator light 4.TrendNet Wifi Router ABCRouter

nWiFi Demo Recommended Set- Up For best effect place router 10’ from the nWiFi displays (see diagram) Arrange the 3 nWiFi displays around the room

nWiFi Demo #1 Guess what??? No Wires!!! Step 1: Plug in power cords for Display board A Display board B Display board C TrendNet router Step 2: On Display Board A, connect nPODM to nPS 80 WiFi with CAT-5 Step 3: Switch lights connected to Display Board C (nCMRB 6 WIFI) with nPODM Step 3a: Turn lights on and wait 60 seconds (for switch to time out) Step 4: Cover nCMRB6 WIFI and wait for both lights to time out Step 5: Uncover nCMRB6 WIFI, both lights will turn on

nWiFi Demo #2 Switching – Local versus Global Step 1: On Display Board B, connect nPODM 4P to the nPP16 WIFI with CAT 5 cable Step 2: Switch power pack with Display Board B with button 1 on nPODM 4P (local channels are used just like standard nLight zones) Step 3: Switch nCMRB 6 WIFI relay (Display Board C) with nPODM 4P button 2 (a global channel is used to communicate the switch command to between zones) Step 4: Switch both lights with button 3 on nPODM 4P (a global channel is used to communicate switch command to both devices)
