Installed geothermal power worldwide(Bertani 2015)

Top growth from 2010 to Estimated growth:

Installed capacity and production for heat and cold generation (excluding geothermal heat pumps)

Geothermal activity: the good indicators Wells drilled for geothermal from to 2014: 2218 in 42 different countries 6% increase in comparison with the 5 year previous period 49% for power generation and39% for heat generation and 9% for cogeneration

Key figures and main facts 20 billion US$ spent in 49 countries doubling the score of the last period person-years in 52 countries of professional effort of which 55% achieved in the private sector, 22% by public authorities and 11% by governments. Low development in the direct use sector Good development in power generation Acceleration of very low temperature geothermal business using heat pumps, around 4 times the direct use sector in Europe, North America and China
