Moving toward NACEP Accreditation in

Memorandum of Understanding between the Department of Public Instruction and the University of Wisconsin Colleges regarding the Establishment of a Dual Enrollment Partnership Dual enrollment courses offered during the regular school day should be taught by trained high school teachers who are approved to teach college-level courses by the appropriate university academic department(s), with ongoing support and professional development from their high school and the UW Colleges.

Technical College Guiding Principles High School Teachers Teaching Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) Courses to High School Students High school teachers teaching dual credit courses in general education or technical/core courses shall follow the same guiding principles. If a college chooses to enforce additional requirements they may do so.

Discussion If the technical colleges are to maintain the rigor and integrity of quality instruction, as well as provide successful transition to four year universities, do we need consistent requirements in: Certification Training Professional Development
