S TATISTICS Northlake, IL has a population of 12,323 people 7.4% of that population consists of people ages and 7.9% ages Northlake is a middle-class community As of 2013, 78% of all teens in the United States own cell phones 37% of those phones are smartphones 58% of teens in possession of these devices have also downloaded at least one app to their phone or tablet

W HY D OES IT M ATTER ? We live in a digital age dominated by software that shows no signs of slowing down and will only continue growing. Many companies and schools are using QR Codes, so it’s important to know what they are.
