Why was Germany so feared in WWII Germany was so feared because they gassed their own people so every else thought that gas could easily be used on them. People in Britain were even issued gas masks by the government in case of gas being used on them.

Why was Britain feared in WWII Actually Britain was fearing Germany and they thought that German forces would invade them. So because of that Britain had most of their troops in Britain.
