1977: The “Salmon” Plan

Long-Range Planning: 1998 Launched the California Digital Library. Emphasized importance of Print Collections. Suggested Collaboration with Libraries, Museums, other Universities and Industry. UC should lead the national effort to transform the process of Scholarly and Scientific Communication.

2004: Systemwide Strategic Directions
