User Experience By Melanie Crouch 3D STEREOSCOPY

LINEARLY POLARIZED GLASSES Each filter only passes light which is similarly polarized and blocks the orthogonally polarized light, each eye only sees one of the projected images, and the 3D effect is achieved.

CIRCULARLY POLARIZED GLASSES Light that is left-circularly polarized is blocked by the right-handed analyser, while right-circularly polarized light is extinguished by the left-handed analyser.

USABILITY TEST: 3D STEREOSCOPY

USABILITY TEST: MONITORS This paper discussed the usability test they conducted on auto-stereoscopic 3D displays. They compared the difference between stereo 3D displays versus flat 3D displays. Their results indicated that 3D mode has advantages of stereo effect, depth and that immersive feeling when viewing 3D. However there is perceived reduction of resolution, brightness colour and increase discomfort D Media -Stereoscopic studies: CANNES DECEMBER 2008 Real 3D project - Visual perception research

AUTO-STEREOSCOPY: PRODUCTS/MONITORS Alioscopy 3D screens free viewers from annoying eyewear Cubic vue allows viewers to experience stereoscopic 3D content on any flat panel display, without the use of clunky 3D glasses
