Key Features:  Ultra-small and Convenient  Advanced Radio Frequency Technology  Automatic Power Management  4 Channels Patents Pending 9240 Jordan Avenue, Chatsworth, CA The smallest, smartest wireless radio system for firing strobes and most SLR cameras MicroSync™ is a product.

Ultra-small and Convenient  Because the MicroSync™ Digital is super-miniature, it doesn’t get between you and your subject.  Just place the transmitter in the hot shoe of your camera, plug the receiver into your strobe’s power pack and fire! It’s that easy Jordan Avenue, Chatsworth, CA MicroSync™ is a product.

Advanced Radio Frequency Technology  The MicroSync™ Digital uses advanced radio frequency technology that, unlike infrared units:  Does not require “line of sight” to the receiver.  Will work through walls and around corners in most situations.  Will work in bright sunlight.  Will not throw red light into your photos. Patents Pending 9240 Jordan Avenue, Chatsworth, CA MicroSync™ is a product.

Automatic Power Management System  No on/off switches on the transmitter or the receiver.  When the shutter is pressed, the transmitter turns itself on and sends the signal to the receiver to fire the lights.  Both units turn themselves off – all within milliseconds!  The transmitter’s battery life is anticipated to be three years.  You never have to worry about leaving the unit on and running down the batteries Jordan Avenue, Chatsworth, CA MicroSync™ is a product.

MicroSync Digital Receiver  The receiver is available in two versions:  Mono plug  Household plug  Plugs directly into most strobes (no need to tether the receiver to a power pack with an adaptor cord and a lanyard). ™ Household Plug 9240 Jordan Avenue, Chatsworth, CA Mono Plug MicroSync™ is a product.

Changing Channels The MicroSync™ Digital has 4 Channels. The transmitter and receiver are set to channel 1 at the factory *. To change the channel, follow these steps:  Plug the receiver into the sync socket of the power pack or monolight, with the strobe turned on.  Stand within three feet of the receiver.  W ithin 10 seconds of plugging the receiver in, firmly insert the end of a paper clip into the channel select opening to set the transmitter to the next channel.  The transmitter’s and receiver’s LEDs will flash once for each channel to confirm your channel selection (1 flash = channel 1; 2 flashes = channel 2). * The receiver automatically resets to channel 1 when the batteries are removed and re-installed Jordan Avenue, Chatsworth, CA Channel Select Opening MicroSync™ is a product.

Remotely Trigger Cameras With the addition of an accessory cable (not included), the MicroSync™ transmitter and receiver can be used to remotely trigger most SLR cameras. Here’s how:  Locate the electronic shutter release input on the camera.  Plug the corresponding end of the cable into the camera’s electronic shutter release input.  Plug the cable’s sub-mini phone plug into the MicroSync™ receiver output.  Holding the transmitter, press the test fire button to fire the camera. Please note: for cameras with a “pre-focus” feature, you will need to press and hold the test fire button for a second for the camera to focus and then fire Jordan Avenue, Chatsworth, CA MicroSync™ is a product.

Remotely Trigger Cameras Common uses for this feature:  Use yourself as the subject of the photo.  Place a camera behind the bride and groom at a wedding ceremony.  Fire the camera quickly after posing children for portraits.  Photograph wild animals Jordan Avenue, Chatsworth, CA MicroSync™ is a product.
