FORMATIVE AIMS To analyse basic aspects of the statistical methodologies most frequently utilized in social and economic surveys; in particular to provide theoretical instruments in order to critically interpret data deriving from European or International sources.

SUBJECTS Statistical surveys: the distribution of a character and its representation; Synthesizing the distribution of a character: means and variability; Statistical ratios and index numbers; Analysis of the association between two characters; Linear regression and notes on time series analysis;
