Magic Club, HKUSTSU 香港科技大學學生會魔術學會 Founded in 2003 Independent Clubs Association(ICA) Around 500 Members Magic team

Objectives To promote magic as an art. To promote magic in HKUSTSU and affirm its value. To provide a new entertainment for HKUSTSU students and this can relax mental strain. To allow students of HKUSTSU to have a medium to approach, to appreciate and share their experience in magic. To provide large-scale performances for students of HKUSTSU. To provide social service and contribute in any aspect we can.

Position President Internal Vice President External Vice President Financial Secretary Internal Secretary External Secretary Publication Secretary Promotion Secretary Marketing Secretary Welfare Secretary Information Technology Secretary General Secretary Team Manager Notices: -≥9 people -President, Internal Vice-President, External Vice-President and Financial Secretary shall not take more than one post

President i) Be the chief executive of the Club. ii) Preside in all Executive Committee Meetings. iii) Prepare agendas for the following meetings.

Internal Vice-President i) Assist the President in conducting all affairs within the Club. ii) In the absence of the President, carry out all duties of the President inside the Club. iii) Remind persons in charge of each function to finish their duty at each task on time.

External Vice-President i) Assist the President in conducting all affairs outside the Club. ii) Communicate and co-operate with any parties outside the Club. iii) In the absence of the President, carry out all duties of the President outside the Club.

Financial secretary i) Be responsible for all financial affairs of the Club, in particular, keep records of all income and expenditure. ii) Prepare and present the annual budget and the annual financial report of the Club.

Internal Secretary i) Assist the Internal Vice-President in conducting affairs within the Club. ii) Take minutes of all meetings within the Club. iii) Prepare and present the annual report of the Club at the Annual General Meeting. iv) Be responsible for all document filings.

External Secretary i) Assist the External Vice-President in conducting affairs outside the Club. ii) Take minutes of all meetings outside the Club.

Publication Secretary i) Be responsible for producing and editing the publications of the Club.

Promotion Secretary i) Be responsible for publicizing the Club and its activities by means of such as posters, leaflets and notices.

Marketing Secretary i) Be responsible for contacting organizations or firms so as to look for sponsors for the Club.

Welfare Secretary i) Be responsible for the welfare of the Members.

Information Technology Secretary i) Be responsible for all matters concerning the homepage and all computer operations of the Club.

General Secretary i) Deal with correspondence on behalf of the Club. ii) Contact all Executive Committee members for the following meeting.

Team Manager i) Be responsible for the storage and management of the Clubs props, ensuring that they are in good condition. ii) Be responsible for managing the Magic Team. iii) Be responsible for managing a rental system of props for Magic Team members.
