IN OUR ICT CLASSES… Being fully aware of the fact that, the growing use of technology in today's world is pushing teachers to consider the integration of ICT into the classroom. That is the main reason of using computing and communications facilities to support teaching and learning in our school. 14

IN OUR ICT CLASSES… To reach the goal during our lessons we use:  Software: Text editors, databases, s, spreadsheets, Internet, browsers, CALL software, etc.  Hardware: CPUs, printers, digital cameras and audio, etc. 15

WE ALSO USE FRONTER 16

FRONTER? What is it? Fronter is a well-known learning platform used by students and teachers around the world. It gives you an access to the platform full of materials, tasks or tests at any time, from any place. It contains a large number of various tools that allow fast and direct communication between all users, as well as the maintenance of a secure server 17

Our students and ICT learning tools 27 SOCIAL WEBSITES used to communicate and share

We do noticed the shortcomings of ICT tools, though…  The ICT tools require Careful lesson planning  We can develop computer phobia  We need constant technical support/back-up lessons  We must take into account the students’ needs and interests  We must know how to locate, synthesize, and use technology, communication networks, and electronic resources effectively 28

ALL IN ALL, The old classroom model simply does not fit our changing needs. It’s a fundamentally passive way of learning, while the worlds requires more active processing of information.” Salman Khan
