Gator Pride Players-Coaches-Parents-Officials-Spectators We believe that we must all work together to support the efforts of our athletes to increase their benefit and enjoyment of interscholastic athletics. Thank you for demonstrating your Gator Pride by being a positive influence on our athletes, coaches, officials, and fans.

GVHS Athletic Participation Please remember that Participation on an athletic team at Green Valley High School is a PRIVILEGE, not a RIGHT!! The purpose of high school athletics is to provide a quality experience and an educational one, as well as to have fun.

Athletic Eligibility Cleared once per year Physical required every year The Clark County School District requires that a student MUST BE COVERED by health insurance in order to participate in interscholastic athletics. Team Selection Head Coaches will select the teams Decision of the coach in choosing the team is final

All incoming Freshman are eligible for Fall Sports Students Required to maintain a 2.0 GPA for previous semester Three-Week Grade Check F = 1 week Probation D = Warning The purpose of high school athletics is to provide a quality experience and an educational one, as well as to have fun. Athletic Eligibility

All Athletes are required to participate! Random Selection throughout the year Testing at least once per week Athletic Drug Testing

Important Dates: Physical Night May 30 th at 6:00 PM New Freshman Intramural Participate June 8 th First Official Practice: Fall: August 9 th – Football August 13 th – All other Fall sports
