  I was born in Kentucky in 1877  I only had a sixth-grade education  I have a business with my wife  I worked on a farm as a kid  When I got older I moved to Cleveland, Ohio to find a new job.  I got hired to study English grammar Me

 what it is?  A gas mask is used for chemicals  It protects from fumes from paints  It does not protect gases that can absorb to the skin  Construction site use them to protect from welding fumes

 What it does?  It protects from toxic gases and bacteria  It forms a seal around your face  It helps the military from gases that they can die from  The S.W.A.T. team also uses it from seeing in the smoke

 How it works? When you breathe it activates the charcoal filter. Then through a charcoal dust filter. Then in to your lungs. But when the charcoal becomes saturates you have to replace it.

 Changes over the years Once the mask was container to a container filled with air but that was to heavy. Then with a mask with no eye protection for different uses. The new gas masks are so much lighter now.
