Moving Ahead

 We will be revisiting and improving on Arts integration in the classroom that took place in years prior. Iteration of “literacy fair” model with partner schools with an emphasis on Arts Integration Full on Arts experience in the MS of all “studios” (Visual Studies, Music, Drama, Dance)- creating new positions or hiring in each MS will have their own performance calendar in each of the disciplines All HS Students will all have a “major” come September Arts Integration

 We will explore the inter-relationship between Science, Technology, Engineering Arts, and Math through the lens of a different country each year; Cuba in  Content and theme-based across the curriculum (STEAM)  Project-based learning (student voice, choice & volume)  Exploration of the Music, Dance, Visual Arts, and Drama of Cuba ANNA IN THE TROPICS Adaptation of THE LOST CITY Partnership collaboration with Jazz at Lincoln Center, the 92Y, and the Bronx Museum  Addressing specifically identified student Math and Literacy challenges through teaching them that particularly identified content and skills they need for NYS test mastery through purposefully designed Arts and Academic curricula centered on The Salt Road. Pre-identified challenges will be addressed through multiple Academic and Artistic lenses.  Roof Top Garden STEAM 2015
