Cell Organelles What Makes Up Living Things?

Maryland Science Content Standard Students will be able to gather and organize data to defend or argue the proposition that all living things are cellular (composed of cells) and that cells carry out the basic life functions.

Objective Students will be able to recognize and describe the function of cellular organelles and in which type of cells they can be found in. Title:Organelles Date:8/9/2015

Vocabulary Read Chapter 1: Section 2 Create a matchbox vocabulary book –Include: Organelle Function Diagram

How to Create Vocabulary Matchbooks Name of Organelle here Diagram Here! Function of organelle here Inside of book Outside of book **Twelve organelles need to have a matchbook made for them

After Matchbooks are Made Glue all your matchbooks onto a plain piece of paper, folded in half.

Final Thought Explain how the development of the cell theory changed the thought process of many scientists regarding living things.
