Trust in the Lord Purpose: To examine what it means to trust in the Lord as opposed to believe in the Lord Objective: To understand that trust is faith in action. Doing what the Lord wants & depending and waiting on the Lord to direct, help you in life.

Trust in the Lord Outline: (Pro 3:5-6 MSG) 1.Trust GOD from the bottom of your heart; 2.Don't try to figure out everything on your own. 3.Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; 4.God will keep you on track.

Trust in the Lord Trust, n. 1. Confidence; a reliance or resting of the mind on the integrity, veracity, justice, friendship or other sound principle of another person.

Trust in the Lord Trust, v. To place confidence in; to rely on a person: 1. To commit to the care of, in confidence. 2. To be confident of something present or future.

Trust in the Lord Psa 91:2 Say this: "GOD, you're my refuge. I trust in you and I'm safe!" Do you feel safe? Is God really your refuge? There is a difference between Trust and belief.

Trust in the Lord Trust says, that I am confident of the outcome. I am depending, waiting, and not worrying. I’m trusting in God for the outcome. Possible outcomes: Pretty scary to Exceeding expectations

Trust in the Lord Outline: (Pro 3:5-6 MSG) 1.Trust GOD from the bottom of your heart; Psa 62:8 So trust him absolutely, people; lay your lives on the line for him. God is a safe place to be.

Trust in the Lord Outline: (Pro 3:5-6 MSG) 2.Don't try to figure out everything on your own. Psa 91:14 "If you'll hold on to me for dear life," says GOD, "I'll get you out of any trouble. I'll give you the best of care if you'll only get to know and trust me.

Trust in the Lord Outline: (Pro 3:5-6 MSG) 3.Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; Psa 115:11 You who fear GOD, trust in GOD! --trust your Helper! trust your Ruler!

Trust in the Lord Outline: (Pro 3:5-6 MSG) 4.God will keep you on track. Pro 21:31 Do your best, prepare for the worst-- then trust GOD to bring victory. What else are you going to do? Trust in people?

Trust in the Lord Psa 118:8 Far better to take refuge in GOD than trust in people; People will let you down – it’s in their nature. They don’t do it on purpose. It doesn’t matter who they are: Husband, wife, sister, brother, friend, pastor, relative, etc. It just happens. Trusting in God is a sure thing.

Trust in the Lord Pro 16:20 It pays to take life seriously; things work out when you trust in GOD. Taking life seriously has always been about doing what God wants. Doing what God want is faith in action which is trust.

Trust in the Lord Purpose: To examine what it means to trust in the Lord as opposed to believe in the Lord Objective: To understand that trust is faith in action. Doing what the Lord wants & depending and waiting on the Lord to direct, help you in life.
