  “1941-december 7 a date witch will live in infamy.” Roosevelt  This led to the United States entering world war 2  They attacked us by bombing our planes and ships so we could not fight back  2390 people lost their lives 1178 were injured  Pearl harbor and U.S. military facilities on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. Pearl harbor facts

 This stands for United States Air Force. In the following slides you will see the three best American fighters or bombers of the war. -P51 -F6F -B29 U.S.A.F.

 P51 Mustang  One of The best bomber escort in the pacific and Europe for the bombers  And could carry more fuel to fly 1,650 miles it could fly as high as 41,900 feet and it had 6 machine guns and could carry bombs and rockets for ground targets  Did you now it stayed in served in other air forces until and after the war they were sold for personal and for air race uses

 B-29 Superforteress  The b-29 was our first heavy bomber and had major roll in the Pacific and dropped the two only atomic (aka) nuclear bombs in a war ever  It had a crew of 11, 1 pilot 3 gunners 6 others that did aiming bombs and radar and radio
