Business proposal for CaseIt!

What goods and services will I provide? I am providing people with personalized smart phone covers. Customers send me their personal photos or artwork in a digital format and I would than transport the image onto a phone case

Where is my business located and why is it there? It is an online business that I am able manage from my home computer. It is located there because don’t need a physical storefront store front this type of business. It is a digital proses so people send the image they want for their iPhone case through the internet. Then I would then be able to print the image onto the insert. This way I don’t have to rent on a storefront I just have to pay hosting fees which is less expensive.

Why will I get customers? Is this a need or want item or both? People like to decorate their phones People are always buying new phones and need covers for them It is a way for people to receive unique, one of a kind cases I think that is both a need and a want. People “need” phone cases to protect their phones. On the other hand it is a “want” item because it a custom and more costly phone case then you would find at just any phone store.

What will I do that my competitors can’t? I will offer really good customer service Lower prices then other companies Online punch card

$39.95 How much will I charge for my product ?

Labor and natural resources I don’t use any natural resource This is an on-line business so I would work out of a studio at home and I don't need employees at this time. If the business were to takes off then I may need to hire workers, but I wouldn't need to hire anyone until then

What capital recourses will I need to start up my business? Printer – around $7,000 Website design – around $5,000 4 Ink cartridges (makes 40 covers) – $ Cell phone inserts & covers - $250 Total amount: $12,585 If I were on a 5year interest only loan the payments would be around $73.41 every monthly

TOTAL overhead costs… …per day: around $6.43 …per week: around $45 …per month: around $180 This is including: Phone bills Insurance Website hosting Advertising (Google)

Final estimate of capital needed: First the 6 months I would need $13,665 I think think that the business will start to support itself after the 1 st year.

Costs vs. Benefits I don’t have to pay rent or utilities, I just have to pay hosting fees which is less expensive I don’t have to spend money on gas getting to and from work everyday, I am able to access my work at home Open 24/7

What will you get in return for your investment? 7% interest on your investment
