Average Costs

 Employers cost to pay for single coverage averages about $5800 per employee  That means for an employee who is paid 52 times per year, the employer pays $112 per check towards their health care  Employees pay only $18.55 per check towards this coverage  Without being in an employer plan, the average cost is between $350-$450 per month

 Health care means more money in your pocket (On average of $290-$340)  Getting check-ups means they are keeping you healthy  YOU are an investment  Health costs are the number one reason for personal bankruptcies in the US

 Employers cost to pay for family coverage averages about $16,000 per employee  That means for an employee who is paid 52 times per year, the employer pays $308 per check towards their health care  Employees pay only $83.60 per check towards this coverage  Without being in an employer plan, the average cost is between $1200-$1400 per month

 If you earn $40,000 per year ($32,400 after taxes), you weekly take home would be $623  $623 per week times 4 weeks in a month would be $2492  If you had a mortgage or rent payment of $800, utility bills of $150, cable/phone/internet of $100, cell phone of $60 that would total $1110, leaving you $1382.

 $1382 then you may need to take out a car payment of about $352 leaving you with $1030  You will need to buy gas weekly, groceries and you may have other expenses. That may cost you about $100 or more, leaving you with $930  If you have student loans, expect to pay another $200-$300 or more, leaving you with about $730

 $730 may sound great, but what about savings and retirement? Most of you will need to put about $230-$300 of that into retirement, leaving you with about $500  If you save 10% of your monthly income, that will cost you about $250, leaving you with about $250  That Heath Care benefit is looking better each minute, isn't it?

 2 work related  2 personal  Work related is based on your skills (Classroom, work, or anything where someone can discuss your work ethic)  Personal letters are about your character (Honest, trustworthy or anything where a person can say you are someone they can honestly say they trust)  NO family
