1.Calling to order:- CP Cr.Madhuri called the 1 st (273 rd continuous) meeting for in order with a toast to the President, Republic of India and sponsor circle CALC3. 2.Circle Prayer : The circle prayer was read by all. 3.Aims and Objects: The aims and objects were read by all. 4.Circle Song: The circle song was sung by all. 5.Welcome: CP Cr. Madhuri welcomed all the Honorary Circlers, IPC Vishu, and all the circlers to the meeting. 6.Sergeant at arms: Cr. Madhuri appointed Cr. Amishi as the sergeant for the meeting. 7.Outgoing secretary: Cr. Madhuri handed over the secretary kit and carton containing all the minutes & the documents to Cr. Madhu. 8.Chairperson: CP Cr.Madhuri presented a folder to each circler containing proposal letter of shagun,Floor plan of Taj for stall bookings and wish list. She informed all the circlers about the President Cr.Manila’s theme: “LIVE YOUR DREAMS” which was revealed at the COB held in Goa. She also informed the circlers about the Chairperson’s and Secretaries e-groups.Cr.Madhuri is the moderator of chairpersons group and Cr.Madhu is the moderator of secretaries group i.e.liveyourdreamssec09- She asked all to read the newsletter forwarded in the group.. 9.Secretary: Cr.Madhu asked if anyone has attended any meetings, projects or fellowships of other circles and reported the following correspondence: Incoming correspondence reported over National DATEFROMPOSITION HELDINFORMATION 16/07/09Cr.ShilpaNat. 10. Treasurer’s report: Cr. Alka collected the Annual Membership Fee of Rs.1500/- from each circler. 11. Report by conveners: PROJECTS:Crs.Amishi and Aparna’s report: Cr. Amishi informed the circlers about the SARIS toilet block inauguration on the 15 th August at Sheoli girls school and flag hoisting along with RT34 in lieu of Independence Day. Cr.Aparna announced that she had a donor of Rs.1.5 lakhs and requested the circlers to find a suitable site for a School. Fellowship:Cr.Alka T and Priyanka K’s report: Cr.Alka told the floor about Inter table-circle fellowships planned for the first quarter. There would be a bus ride on 15 th August wherein various fellowship activities and games will be conducted. Anniversary Wishes: This year we plan to celebrate annniversaries with added sweetness by sending a heart shape personalized cake to all our circlers. Crs.Mridula and Madhuri experienced it. Cr.Anshu’s Baby Shower on 16 th July,09: Cr.Anshu’s baby shower was celebrated after the 1 st meeting.The dress code was green and white for the ones who wished her a baby boy and purple and white for a baby girl. A clothes line with personalised messages from each one of us was given to her.We played games like guessing the measurement of her tummy with a wool and nursery rhymes antakshari.We pampered Anshu and ourselves with tea, coffee and loads of snacks. PUBLICITY: Publicity convenor Cr.Supriya laid out her publicity plans for SHAGUN. She also requested the project conveners to send reports of the project completed for publicity. FUNDRAISER “SHAGUN”:Cr.Archana,Cr.Meena,Cr.Shraddha,Cr.Aditi’s report: They Shagun plans in detail with other circlers. Each circler was given a proposal letter and a floor plan of Taj banquets with the complete lay out of the exhibition stalls. HRD: NONE TWINKLERS:Crs.Shilpi & Payal’s report: Cr.Shilpi requested the floor to give her the names of the children who have not been pinned as Twinklers. Friendship day celebrations on 2 nd August. JAI HO- A religious place visit along with social service once a month. Independence Day celebrations on 15 th August. RENDEZVOUS: NONE EXTENSION: NONE IT/WEBSITE: NONE 12.International Relations: All the circlers signed a card for LCI President Cr.Seetha,congratulating her for a stupendous year gone by.This card would be handed over to her in August at the LCI Conference to be held in Bangalore.Cr.Vishu gave us details about the registration for the same. 13.Participation in National events: The COB at Goa was attended by Cr. Meena. 14.Participation in Area events: Crs.Madhuri, Mridula,Madhu,Archana J,Vishu and AlkaT.attended the AGM of LC 3 held on 4th July,08. Cr.Madhuri requested all to attend the Agm’s of the following circles: LC 27 on 17 th July LC 65 on 27 th July She also requested the circlers to mark 8 th and 9 th August and keep themselves free for the Area IV AGM to be held at Kolkata. 15.Sergeant collections: Cr.Amishi reported a collection of Rs Date and Time of the next meeting: Will be intimidated later. 17.Closure of the meeting: CP Cr.Madhuri closed the meeting with a toast to Ladies Circle India and Ladies Circle International.
