WHERE DID THEY LIVE ? The Chickasaw lived in Northwestern Alabama and in parts of Mississippi and Tennessee.

FOOD/HUNTING They hunted deer And they also farmed to.

SHELTER The houses were Covered with grass, hay And wheat.

GOVERNMENT The United States government made the Chickasaw move along with the creek, Cherokee, Choctaw as well.

RELIGION Alabama Indians believed In a supreme being. Different tribes Used different named for This being.

RITUALS/CEREMONIES The medicine man of a Village usually led the Indian’s ceremonies. There was a ceremony before each hunt began.

UNIQUE FACTS The Chickasaw are Mostly remembered as Skilled warriors. The Chickasaw were Also good hunters.
