 Over the past 5 years there has been an average of 48 secondary teacher vacancies per year.  What created the vacancies: o Retirees – 8 per year o Teacher Left the Profession of Ag Ed – 21 per year o Teacher accepted a position in Agriculture at another school – 12 per year o New Programs – 4 per year o Programs added an additional teacher – 3 per year  5 year average shows a yearly demand for 36 new teacher candidates.

 Over the past 5 years there has been an average of 48 secondary teacher vacancies per year.  Who filled the positions:: o Recent Ag Ed Graduates – 13 per year o Out-of-State Ag Ed Grads – 4 per year o Current Ag teacher moved from another school – 12 per year o Provisional - 10 per year o Others Licensed (Re-entering Profession) – 9 per year
