Michigan’s School Improvement Process Model Plan Study Gather Data Do Student Achievement

Gather Data (Beginning) Where are we now and where do we want to be? Why are our students performing the way they are?

Study What did the data/information we collected tell us? What in our system processes and protocols of practice contribute to this? What are our student achievement goals?

Gather Data (End of cycle) What worked well, and what needs to be adjusted? What changes to our plan do we need to make?

Comprehensive Needs Assessment Purpose Identify performance status, growth, and gaps Identify strengths, challenges, and needs Identify possible causes for the needs identified
