2 ADAMAGIC What is ADAMAGIC? ADAMAGIC is a utility designed to extract data from ADABAS mainframe backups and prepare it for load on the server platforms, such as Windows, Linux and UNIX.

8 ADAMAGIC Installation is designed to be straightforward and only requires minimal system knowledge – simply decompress the install file into a defined library and it is mostly installed Only special requirement is for specific C libraries which are freely available from all OS vendors or the GNU C libraries are sufficient Perform additional processing by invoking a UNIX script synchronously at the end of each output file, such as running the bulk loader for a RDBMS.
