For the interviewer:  Can the candidate do the job?  Will the candidate fit in?  Is this the best candidate for the position? What is the purpose?

For the interviewee:  Do I want the job?  Can I do this job?  Does this job offer me the opportunities I want for advancement or experience?

Soft skills are important You are the expert on you Both parties are being interviewed How you do things demonstrates your character First impressions are important They already are interested in you To succeed in interviews
