Some examples of the many uses that a handheld TETRA data terminal facilitates  Roadside vehicle checks including police national computer checks possible with images sent to device.  Sending incident reports from the field without having to return to office, keeping users mobile and allowing information to be re broadcast to others  Images sent back for analysis or control room re broadcast  Complex database enquiries that would traditionally require a call to back office personnel  Workflow applications in which PDA user receives tasks, records information and acknowledges completion  Navigation, using on board GPS and /or relaying the PDA’s location to control room or other users  Use of WiFi to provide additional bearer for application updates

MTC100 - USE CASE Customer: Airwave / UK Police Forces Situation: Lack of efficiency Average time spent in police station = 43% Proportion of that time that could be saved by access to mobile information = 29% Requirements: cut unnecessary bureaucracy, exploit new technologies and enable police officers to spend more time on frontline policing. Solution: use of TETRA as a secure, cost effective and reliably network to deliver relevant information, not previously available to users on the move, to existing TETRA users Applications: plate checks, printing roadside 'tickets' (for roadside stops) etc. Quantities: >5,000 units Status: Deployment from Sep 2008 into 2009

Fast growing market Complementary to existing Motorola products Your customers already adopting Mobile Data Grab the opportunity!
