1 Blank PowerPoint Classic 6 This is a basic PowerPoint template with two master slides. It uses “Classic 6 – Plain” as the background and all the other elements (bars and Intervarsity logos) are in the Master Slides. In order make changes in fonts and bars, go to ‘View’ and click on ‘Master’ – you will then be able to edit the ‘Master Slides’ until you click ‘Close Master View.’ Changes in fonts or graphics made on the Master will change the format of all slides in the PowerPoint unless you have overridden the default options in an individual slide. One Master slide has two main text boxes and the InterVarsity logo at the top (slides 2, 3, & 4); the other has only one main text box and the logo in the bottom right (slides 5, 6, & 7). The large text box in both Masters has three levels of text. You can choose which Master you want to use for any new slide by going to ‘Design’ and choosing from the two options ‘Used in This Presentation.’ Or, I think it is easier to highlight the type of side you want and copy and paste (Control C, Control V). Slide numbers are built into all slide, but you can change that by changing the Master Slides. If you are ready to begin building you own PowerPoint presentation, I suggest you delete this first informational slide.
