 On a sheet of 8 ½ X 11 blank paper, create a timeline of American history using your American history book as a resource.  Materials needed:  Copy paper  Colored pencils  Textbook  Ruler??

 Using a BLUE colored pencil, identify at least 3 presidents that served during the time period.  Using a GREEN colored pencil, identify at least 3 inventions created during this time period.  Using a RED colored pencil, identify at least 3 examples of land claims by the United States.  Using a BLACK colored pencil identify at least 3 population estimates for the country during this time period.

 Using an ORANGE colored pencil, identify the following important moments:  Monroe Doctrine  Missouri Compromise  Indian Removal Act passed  California becomes a state  TWO other important events of your choosing
