GOT FAITH? “BECAUSE YOU’RE NOT YET TAKING GOD SERIOUSLY,” SAID JESUS. “THE SIMPLE TRUTH IS THAT IF YOU HAD A MERE KERNEL OF FAITH, A POPPY SEED, SAY, YOU WOULD TELL THIS MOUNTAIN, ‘MOVE!’ AND IT WOULD MOVE. THERE IS NOTHING YOU WOULDN’T BE ABLE TO TACKLE.” MATTHEW 17; 20 (MSG )

WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE FAITH IS?

WHAT IS FAITH? A few of FAITH’s definition’s Confidence or trust in a person or thing Belief that is not based on proof Belief in God or in the doctrines or teachings of religion Belief in anything, as a code of ethics, standards or merit A system of religious belief

BELIEF Belief is a mental attitude of acceptance Believing is either an intellectual judgment or a special sort of feelings with overtones We must BELIEVE in order to have FAITH!

FAITH IS… Hebrews 11; 1 Have you ever asked for something only to not believe it will happen? Mark 9; 23- (NLT) “Anything is possible if a person BELIEVES.” Genesis 17; & Genesis 21; 1-7

HAS YOUR FAITH BEEN K.O’D (KNOCKED OUT)? Group 1- Look for stories in Genesis-Isaiah Group 2- Look for stories in Jeremiah –Malachi Group 3- Look for stories from Matthew to Revelation Children-Find power scriptures related to FAITH

HAS YOUR FAITH BEEN K.O’D (KNOCKED OUT)? God ALWAYS comes through The most important factor is “BELIEVING” Not BELIEVING decreases your faith.

FAITH WORKOUT We have to exercise our FAITH in order to have spiritual growth 6 things you can do to exercise your FAITH 1.Pray God gives us power, insight, strength and FAITH through our prayers Matthew 21; Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. 22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”

FAITH WORKOUT Mark 11; 24 That’s why I tell you to have FAITH that you have already received whatever you pray for, and it will be yours. Prayer is important and is the seed for so many aspects of our spiritual journey

2.DON’T WAIVER 1 Corinthians 16; 13 If you have asked God for something, no matter how long it takes, believe him While we are waiting for God to do his part, you do yours. Seek God through prayer, fasting, read your word, research, talk to people, make connections. Be proactive!

GOT FAITH? 3. Don’t’ get discouraged Know that the enemy will try to discourage you Ephesians 6; 16 Philipians 4; Keep a book of rememberance Keeps us from forgetting when God came through for us It also keeps us from forgetting that GOD cares about our wants, desires and our dreams

GOT FAITH? 5. Trust HIM Trust God with your business Psalms 118; 8 “It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in people Proverbs 3; 5-6 Psalm 125; 1 Jeremiah 17; 7-8

GOT FAITH? Praise HIM because HE IS GOD Praise HIM because HE is the one that supplies all your needs Praise HIM because you BELIEVE that HE will come through for you, for your family, for your health, for your finances, for whatever you’re in need of Praise GOD for the blessing that you await for NOW!!!

GOT FAITH Faith takes work on our part Faith takes ACTION! Don’t give up because you haven’t gotten what you want Instead humble yourself, pray for the increase in FAITH, BELEIVING God, who is the author and finisher of your FAITH. He will go beyond your wildest dreams, because he cares FOR YOU!
