Do Not Leave Belongings Unattended – Books, Laptops, iPods, etc. September and January are Safety Months!

DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND RESIDENTIAL LIFE C AMPUS L IVING – NEED 2 KNOW How to be a GOOD Roommate Clean up after yourself. Be quiet when necessary. Do not use your roommate’s things without their permission. Do not gossip or talk about your roommate behind their back. If you break it you buy it. Be aware of when and how often you have guests in your suite/apartment. Be aware of when and how often you have “special guests”. Be willing to compromise. You do not have to be best friends. Sit down and talk to your roommates after you move-in to discuss your living preferences, your likes/dislikes, visitors, sharing your belongings, etc. Complete a Roommate Agreement when you first move-in
