The News on Brian Robeson By Madison Yates

The Boy who survived 54 days in the wilderness! Thirteen-year-old Brian Robeson went missing while going to visit his father who lives in Canada. I interviewed Brian and he told us that the pilot had just taught him how to steer and turn the plane right before he had a heart attack which had killed him. Brian had been in the Canadian wilderness for 54 days before being rescued. He learned how to survive in the wilderness for almost two months. His only recourse. A hatchet.

The Hatchet He used the hatchet for everything. Food, shelter and everything he could. He informed us that he was attacked by a moose and a tornado. And that he has seen the tail of the plane that had crashed in the lake. So he had gotten into the plane. He had found a survival pack in the plane with many other recourses. Such as a sleeping bag, a foam sleeping pad, an aluminum cook set with four little pots and pans with a fork, a knife, and a spoon. He also got a .22 survival riffle. And an emergency transmitter.

The Rescue After 54 long days A pilot heard the emergency transmitter that he had found in the survival pack. It took a long while for Brian to gain back the weight. He learned many skills to survive in the wilderness. Such as how to build a shelter, how to use a hatchet for everything.
