 Highlight grant opportunities for technology and STEM  STEM projects in the classroom  Instructional technology for teachers  Technology purchases at the district level  Discuss varying eligibility requirements – what to look for  Review feasibility considerations – to apply or not to apply  Provide resources and online links so that you can get started on your own grant research and development

 N-Vision A Brighter Future Grant Program for STEM, Westinghouse Electrical Co and-Education/Educational-Grant and-Education/Educational-Grant Funding for a hands-on project dealing with STEM Technology equipment is an allowable expense if it is one component of a well-planned project, integrated with other curriculum materials and activities. Three schools will receive $1,000 to complete their project and an additional $2,000 for other science department needs Any U.S. elementary, middle or high school can apply Applications due online by November 14, 2014

 Toshiba America Foundation Funding for hands-on math and science projects Teachers are eligible applicants  Grades K-5 Grants  Up to $1,000  Deadline: October 1  Grades 6-12 Grants  Two levels: Up to $5,000 or more than $5,000  Rolling deadline for requests of up to $5,000  Requests over $5,000 are due February 1 st and August 1 st of each year

 The Lemelson-MIT Program InvenTeam Grants Grants of up to $10,000 to teams of high school students, teachers, and mentors who invent technological solutions to real-world problems Science, math, and technology educators in high school are eligible to apply. Applications due in February.
