Local Veterans' Employment Representatives Conduct outreach to employers Engage in advocacy efforts with hiring executives to increase employment opportunities for veterans Encourage the hiring of disabled veterans Generally assist businesses in recruiting top Veteran talent Provide assistance to businesses in meeting their Affirmative Action Goals LVER staff conduct seminars for employers and job search workshops for veterans seeking employment, and facilitate priority of service in regard to employment, training, and placement services furnished to veterans by all staff of the employment service delivery system.

Disabled Veterans’ Outreach Program Disabled Veterans' Outreach Program (DVOP) specialists Provide direct services to Veterans with Significant Barriers to Employment enabling them to become competitive in the labor market Develop job and training opportunities for Veterans, with special emphasis on Veterans with service-connected disabilities Provide outreach and offer assistance to disabled and other Veterans by promoting community and employer support for employment and training opportunities.
