Day 1

Subjects The subject of a sentence tells who or what does something. For example: Neil Armstrong walked on the moon.( Who walked on the moon?) The moon goes around the Earth. (What goes around the Earth?)

Circle the subject of each sentence. The girl will be an astronaut. Astronauts study space. She dreams about spaceships. My father is a zoologist. Zoologists study animals. My uncle explores the rain forest.

Now you try… Mom likes to sing. Dad never sings. People like to hear dad sing. Dad played the piano. Mom sang a funny song.
