Traditional food (BBQ pulled pork) There are BBQ pulled pork all over America, but Southeast pulled pork is unique from other regions. Sauce is different because of the immigrants (cooking styles were different).

BBQ pulled pork in different states East North Carolina vs. South Carolina and Georgia ENC: meat is chopped or sliced and sauce is peppery vinegar Side dish: coleslaw and hush puppies South Carolina and Georgia: Pig is chopped or sliced and yellow mustard-based sauce Side dish: light bread, coleslaw and hash with rice
