Who was the war with? The American Revolutionary War was with between the 13 American Colonies and Great Britain.

When did the war happen? The American Revolution was a time when the British colonists in America rebelled against the rule of Great Britain in 1775.

Where did the war take place? The American Revolutionary War took place in America.

What are the main reasons why the war started? The main reasons for the American Revolutionary War were: – The American Revolutionary was a war between the Kingdom of Great Britain and thirteen British colonies on the North American continent (as well as some naval conflict). The war was the culmination of the political American Revolution, whereby the colonists overthrew British rule.

When did the war end? The American Revolutionary War ended in__1783__

Facts about The American Revolutionary War The first shot fired in the American Revolution was on April 19, 1775 and is called the "shot heard round the world". John Adams was the defense attorney for the British soldiers involved in the Boston Massacre. He would later become a great leader in the Revolution and the 2nd president of the United States. George Washington, the first President, only attended school until he was 14 years old. He became Commander of the Virginia Militia when he was just 23.
