The Revolution of Cuba

Things cubans do on this holiday Generally have small parties within communities Children and teens do not celebrate July 26th instead celebrate January 1st there official day of independence They also celebrate like we do with fireworks and family gatherings They have a big party in Havana their capital Partys include loud music from colonial era houses to the capital building itself

The day is about the historical even in which Fidel Castro led 87 revolutionaries to the Moncada barrack. They lost the battle but they started a full blown revolution They ended up overthrowing the dictator at the time
