4 WORK PLACE RECOVERY - EARLY INTERVENTION AND REHABILITATION MENTAL HEALTH IN THE WORKPLACE Treatment is vocationally focused rather than just symptom reduction Provide a number of different psychotherapies Return to work team who provide the links between treatment, return to work and relapse prevention Employee and employer benefits “Thanks to them I'm back to work. 8 MENTAL HEALTH IN THE WORKPLACE WORK PLACE RECOVERY- OUR SUCCESS Active vocational intervention Invested £4.6m in rehabilitating people back to work Provided 7222 sessions of psychological treatment Integrated approach 79.4% returned to work before the end of the deferred period 85.9% within the 1 st year of absence (2013) Benefit payable to the employer at the end of the deferred period Paid out £35,400,000 on income protection benefit
