HKCAN Project Hong Kong Chinese Authority (Name) Initiated in 1999 by six academic libraries Became a cooperative project in 2001Aims  To build a Chinese name authority file with CJK scripts that meet the need of the bilingual community.  To improve and streamline authority control operations, to achieve “Better”, “Faster”, “Cheaper”.  To participate in regional and global cooperative activities on authority work.
